D-SAL was invented, prototyped, tested and filed by PERA Complexity BV (Netherlands) together with the University of Zurich (Switzerland) and KAUST (Saudi Arabia).

PERA Complexity BV was founded by CUP Sciences Inc. (USA), Fundación Avina and WTT — World-Transforming Technologies — to move complexity-based science out of the laboratory and into use.
