Pilot 01

Saudi Arabia — KAUST Red Sea test

A scaled 20 × 20 cm demonstrator was tested at KAUST under highly saline Red Sea conditions. The measured output reached approximately 1 L per hour per m², validating the D-SAL absorber approach in real seawater.

Pilot 02

Brazil — planned community pilots

Field configurations were planned for Northeast Brazil: an 8 m² family-farm solar still alongside cisterns and brackish wells, and floating modular arrays for rural communities in the semi-arid interior.
