Floating modular arrays on reservoirs and ponds distribute clean water without high-pressure pumps or grid infrastructure. WHO guidelines set a benchmark of 20 L per person per day from a source within 1,000 m or 20 minutes; D-SAL can sit near that source and cut the need for long distribution networks.
